A fixed price instead of the meter
Book in advance and we agree a fixed price for your trip to BER, within the legal Festpreis corridor around the metered fare — for a trip from Mitte to Terminal 1 or 2, or from any other Berlin postcode. Flight tracking: we know when you actually land
As soon as you give us your flight number, our dispatch tracks it in real time. If the plane lands 90 minutes late, the car shows up 90 minutes later — without you having to call, and without a waiting-time surcharge. If it lands early, we're there early too.
That's the difference between a transfer and a taxi ride that just happens to go to the airport.
Pickup at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2
BER has designated taxi ranks at level E0, north and south of Terminal 1. Terminal 2 has no rank of its own. With a booked transfer we tell you the exact meeting point and vehicle details in advance, so you don't have to search. On request, the driver picks you up right at the arrivals hall — just mention it when you book.
Note: the former Tegel Airport (TXL) closed in 2020, as did Terminal 5 at Schönefeld. All Berlin flights now go through BER.
Early flights and night arrivals
Our dispatch is staffed 24 hours a day. Trips at three or four in the morning are routine for us, not the exception — book the day before and the car is firmly scheduled. We call you the evening before to confirm.
Lots of luggage, groups, and families
Travelling as a group of five, or with ski gear? Mention it when you book and we'll plan a larger vehicle from our fleet. We provide child seats on request at no extra cost — please flag it when booking, we just need a little lead time.
Travel time from BER to central Berlin
The drive from BER to Berlin-Mitte takes about 35 to 45 minutes under normal traffic. During rush hour, between 7 and 9am and 4 and 7pm, plan for an extra 15 to 20 minutes. For departures, we recommend leaving at least three hours before your flight.

What does a taxi from Berlin to BER Airport cost?
On the meter, a ride from the city centre to BER typically runs €61 to €78, under the normal city tariff (the return trip from BER is cheaper — it uses the airport's own tariff). Nothing. We track your flight by its flight number and adjust the pickup time automatically. The delay doesn't add any extra cost.
